About Us

Demo-Dozer™ was invented and patented by John Waddington, Jr., owner of CalWest Landscape Demolition in Los Gatos, California. John has been in business for over seven years, specializing in the demolition of homes, concrete, landscapes, old swimming pools, and the excavation of new pools.

Motivated to increase job productivity, and to save time and money, he designed Demo-Dozer™, a multi-tool skid steer attachment that features a dozer, a grapple bucket, a log handler, clam shell, a high volume bucket, and a demolition hook. John loves to hear how Demo-Dozer™ customers keep finding new uses for the Demo-Dozer™ every day.

Doug Moore, owner of Midwest Attachments, was looking for an attachment to clear brush, trees, and stumps from a wooded property in eastern Iowa. After buying a Demo-Dozer™ bucket and using it for 4 hours, he was convinced that there was a giant market for the Demo-Dozer™. A quick flight to California later, Doug had an agreement with John Waddington, the inventor of the Demo-Dozer™, to manufacture and market the Demo-Dozer™ bucket in North America.

Doug is also the founder and owner of EuroSource, a supplier of new and secondhand machinery solutions to the particleboard industry. He lives with his wife, Amy, 2 kids, and 2 dogs in Iowa City, Iowa.
